Assistant General Manager Job Details Level Management Job Location Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Twin Falls - Twin Falls, ID Description Pennbridge Lodging is seeking a highly talented individual to help lead our high-performing properties in Twin Falls Idaho. Our Twin Falls properties consist of the Fairfield by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will direct and coordinate activities of the hotel to obtain optimum efficiency of operations and maximize its full potential with a balanced focus on people, product, and profit.

Job Responsibilities

* In this role, you will be responsible for all excellence in guest services for the property as directed by hotel/company leadership. This position is a strategic partner who helps the property achieve its goals by being a leader, and champion for inspiring achievement in all operational departments as well as Finance, Human Resources.

* The AGM supervises all Operations ie , Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Food & Beverage, Engineering, in addition partnering with the General Manager and assisting with all areas of the Hotel including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, as well as execution of the Hotels Sales, Marketing and Revenue plan.

* Assistant General Manager must adapt to the brand culture, our mission statement, our core company values, and quality standards to ensure maximum potential for all areas is achieved. This person must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures the engagement of our amazing employees, our valued guests, and ownership. This Leader must ensure compliance with all federal, state, local health safety, sanitation and alcohol guidelines and standards. Supervise all department heads

* Maintain positive relations with staff through timely complete communication of all items concerning their areas of supervision individually and a department as a whole.

* Analyze with each department head their goals identified and the action steps to achieve them within the identified length of time.

* Monitor progress on a set schedule and report achievements and problem areas to the General Manager, their effect on profitability and stability of hotel operations.

* Ensure a positive guest experience through quality and safety of the hotel product.

Qualifications

* Requirements include personal response to all guests immediate needs, College level communication in reading, writing, math, and multiple platforms computer programs

* 3-5 years' work experience, preferably in hotel, restaurant, or retail management

* Ability and drive to lead a team and must have an attitude and passion for success

* Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without direct management
