We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team at Giltner Transportation, Inc. located in Jerome, Idaho. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing company driver payroll and assisting with other accounting duties. We are looking for an individual who is a quick learner and self-motivated to join our team.

Payroll Specialist Job Description

* Process company driver payroll

* Assist with lease driver payroll and other duties as necessary

* Maintain records and reports

* Answer general questions from drivers, etc. by phone, email, and in-person

* Provide excellent customer service to drivers and other internal employees

* Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Payroll Specialist Qualifications

* Experience in the trucking industry is a plus, but not required

* Experience in accounting is a plus, but not required

* High attention-to-detail

* Excellent computer skills

* Work ethic second-to-none

* Team player
