**Job Summary:**

Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day office and warehouse operations at a branch facility.

**Duties/Responsibilities:**

WAREHOUSE:

? Oversee receiving, proper storage and inventory of incoming products.

? Coordinate all aspects of outgoing freight shipments.

? Oversee courteous and efficient service for walk-in customers.

? Arrange for proper printing of orders; pick lists, hazardous manifests, etc.

? Ensure compliance of safe warehouse operations.

? Coordinate and work with Inventory Control on inventory cycle counts

? Tag on-hold product, move items in QC bins, cancel transactions in the system as needed.

? Ensure that the facility is maintained in clean, orderly, and safe condition.

? Supervise warehouse operations, keeping management informed of actions.

OPERATIONS:

? Manage day-to-day office and operation activities.

? Anticipate the need for the product.

? Responsible to support accounts receivable and collection.

? Help develop an annual plan for the branch.

? Manage warehouse facilities.

? Responsible for security of the branch warehouse.

? Responsible for cash receipts.

? Responsible for purchase clerk duties.

MANAGEMENT:

? Act as the champion for policies and procedures implemented.

? Responsibility for all staffing needs at the branch location.

? Work with temp agencies as needed

? Works closely with Human Resources to perform HR-related responsibilities

? Stay current on state employment law.

? Develop a personal relationship with customers.

? Make recommendations for new products.

? Answer customer questions related to products.

? All other assigned duties

**Required Education and Experience:**

? Education: High school degree or equivalent.

? In-depth knowledge of current products and customers.

? Previous leadership experience with an emphasis on team development.

**Preferred Education and Experience:**

? Education: Post secondary degree or equivalent experience.

? Experience: 5+ years experience in distribution or related business.

**Equipment:**

? Computer

? Wireless Warehouse Management System scanner

? Shipping equipment

? Forklifts

? Battery charger

? Floor scrubber

? Hand tools

? Hydraulic and power hose machines

**Physical Requirements:**

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 56#, occasionally lift and/or move more than 75#, and infrequently push/pull greater than 115#. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving equipment, dust particles, ladders, hazardous chemicals and slight risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The working surface is concrete.

**Work Week:**

Hours: 42-45 Days: Monday-Friday Weekends: As required
