Responsibilities The Supervisor Patient Transport supervises the patient transport activities within the facilities. + Provide day-to-day oversight of the patient transport team operations. + Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflict and counsels staff when standards are not met. + Assists with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels to remain compliant with department budget. + Identify problems and potential solutions to ensure department efficiency. + Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate department supplies. + Accountable for efficiency, productivity, quality. + Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies including but not limited to Federal, State, JCAHO, OSHA, and CDC. + Makes recommendations and assists with developing policies and procedures for the department. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
