Fulfillment Manager

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Vice President of Operations

Job Summary:

The Fulfillment Manager plays a critical role at Plant Therapy. This position is responsible for achieving both short-term and long-term fulfillment goals while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer experience. The Fulfillment Manager will lead and inspire teams within the fulfillment department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee daily operations in the fulfillment department to ensure seamless order processing and shipping.
  • Manage staffing levels to align with company goals, budget constraints, customer experience expectations, and employee development.
  • Ensure orders are accurately fulfilled and shipped on time to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.
  • Uphold high housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Guarantee all products meet rigorous quality standards before shipment.
  • Lead and develop employees, clearly defining roles and responsibilities while identifying and addressing skill gaps.
  • Provide cross-training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and flexibility.
  • Consistently meet or exceed KPI goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
  • Lead efforts to implement and track improvements within the department.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams, groups, and functions.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Experience with 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
