Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing daily office operations and providing essential support to the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Office Administration/Accounting Assistant
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and placing orders as necessary
  • Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, well-equipped, and maintained
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Provide general support to visitors and employees
  • Assist company Directors and Managers as needed
  • Provide general backup for various accounting processes in a timely manner
  • Assist with the reconciliation of financial statements and accounts
  • Prepare and verify customer invoices
  • Assist accounting team with the preparation of month-end and year-end customer billing
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of accounting transactions


Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven experience as an office administrator, accounting assistant, or relevant role
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online or equivalent platforms
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High school diploma; additional qualifications as an Office Administrator or Accounting Assistant are a plus

Compensation is dependent on experience, range from $18 - $22/hr.
