Job Title: Maintenance Technician

My client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Twin Falls, ID. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the timely repair and preventative maintenance of plant equipment, including filling machines, metal detectors, case erectors, packers, sealers, pasteurizers, motors, pumps, and conveying equipment.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Identify and correct problems in electrical/control systems (sensors, limit switches, solenoids, motors, Servos, PLC programming, PID loops, etc.) and mechanical systems (pumps, vacuum pumps, belt drives, gear reduction drives, piping, valve diagnosis and replacement, air handling systems, material delivery systems, etc.).
• Implement safety and continuous improvements, equipment calibrations, and reliability opportunities.
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, motor control devices, pumps, conveyor systems, instrumentation, and all production equipment.
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and mechanical and electrical testing instruments.
• Control downtime by informing operation workers of routine preventative maintenance and operation techniques.
• Provide mechanical maintenance and other general information to prevent equipment damage.
  
  

• 2-7 years of related experience required.
• Tetra Pak experience!
• Automation experience a big plus!
• Associate's degree, Technical School Certificate, or Military training in Electrical or Electronics Systems, Industrial Controls, or Manufacturing Systems/Mechanical Systems.
