Description:

A leading dairy manufacturing company is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager. As a strategic leader, you will align business objectives with employee and management needs across all departments. This role partners with executive leadership to develop HR policies, lead talent acquisition efforts, and manage benefits programs. It also ensures policy compliance, supports supervisors, maintains legal documentation, and fosters clear communication on HR matters. Responsibilities for the Senior Human Resources Manager:

  • Develops and implements HR strategies in collaboration with executive leadership, including policies, procedures, and departmental goals.
  • Oversees all HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Ensures legal compliance by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and working with legal experts to manage risk.
  • Supports managers and employees with coaching, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
  • Leads workforce planning and development, including succession planning, training programs, and executive coaching.
  • Maintains accurate records and reporting, including KPIs, organizational charts, and compliance documentation.
  • Manages HR team members and drives continuous improvement in HR services and departmental efficiency.


Requirements for the Senior Human Resources Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  • HR Expertise & Strategic Leadership: Proven experience in multi-site management, plant startups, and a deep understanding of HR disciplines including compensation, employee relations, diversity, and employment law.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to influence and support diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical & Organizational Strengths: Proficient in ADP, Microsoft Office, and database tools; highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
