Summary: Efficiently operate assigned lift truck with great care and concern given to food, personal, and environmental safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure personal safety, food safety, and quality protocols are followed
- Operate industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks:
- Pre-operational inspection of lift trucks
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Supplying production with ingredients
- Returning unused ingredients from production back to inventory
- Tag incoming ingredients with CCC ingredient labels and move them to inventory
- Setting up orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse with accurate inventory cards
- Keep inventory stock rotated
- Keep work area clean and orderly in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice, and HACCP.
- Practice first in first out on all inventory
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end cycle counts
- Fill out all records accurately and completely according to established company protocols. Includes bill of ladings, order set-up sheets, trailer inspection sheets, discard logs, and cycle counts
- Follow all safety procedures including lockout, personal protective equipment, food safety, and ergonomics. Get help when lifting 100 pounds or more.
- Ensure the product is placed in the hold area and secured if on hold.
