The pay range for this position is $13.00/hr to $21.00/hr, with a starting rate of $16.49/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

Front End:

• Provide customers with an exceptional experience by building relationships and offering assistance.
• Cater to all sales and cash functions using the POS system efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct thorough inspections of products at checkout and verify purchases against cart contents.
• Carry out store opening and closing functions based on your assigned shifts.

Sales Floor and Stocking:

• Support sales growth and minimize shrinkage by ensuring excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving inventory shipments and maintain well-organized and properly stocked shelves.
• Ensure each product is correctly labeled and positioned according to FIFO standards.
• Use equipment like reach trucks and pallet jacks for product movement.
• Assist in the implementation of price changes as directed by management.

Customer Courtesy:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff by adhering to safety policies.
• Regularly clean the sales and common areas, including the parking lot.
• Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas, ensuring they are clean and functional.

Additional duties may be assigned by Store Management as needed.

Work Environment:

This role is set in a retail environment, open to the public, and may involve exposure to varied weather conditions. The typical noise level is moderate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6-12 months of experience in retail cashier and/or stocking roles is required.
• Preferred: 1 year of retail sales and/or customer service experience.

Preferred Attributes:

• Strong desire and capability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Good judgment, logical thinking skills, and a basic understanding of math.
• Motivated, self-driven, and able to multitask effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills and cash handling experience are required.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand continuously and walk frequently.
• Occasional sitting may be required.
• Lifting 1-50 lbs frequently; lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Push, pull, and climb frequently; stooping and kneeling occasionally.
