Process Engineering Intern

The Process Engineering Internship will allow the successful candidates to enhance their real-life experiences and hone their skills in engineering. It is an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience on the manufacturing plant floor and understand how data is applied to make insightful observations, determine process efficiency trends, and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities:

  • Support process engineering initiatives by analyzing process data, identifying anomalies, and implementing solutions to optimize throughput and reduce waste
  • Develop performance standards & metrics; implement analysis and reporting processes to monitor process performance
  • Monitor daily manufacturing performance in various processing areas with effective, efficient, timely, accurate, and insightful reporting
  • Analyze current operational processes; develop and implement ideas for improvement
  • Support the operations team with troubleshooting technical issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, physical sciences or data and analytics
  • Students with a minimum of one year of major specific classes, preferred
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity and a passion to learn new things and solve problems
  • Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to loud, hot, cold, or wet environments
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk and climb stairs for eight hours per day
