Summary
The Dry Warehouse Internship will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skillsets within the field that they are studying. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience on the manufacturing plant floor and understand how data is utilized to make insightful observations, determine efficiency trends and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
* Utilizing systems to their maximum potential and make reporting effective, efficient, timely, accurate, and insightful
* Complete studies on current manufacturing equipment installations to evaluate operational efficiency and line performance. Assist with the support of implementing projects for improvement for instance: Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing
* Analyze current operational processes; develop and implement ideas for improvement
* Develop performance standards & metrics; implement analysis and reporting processes to monitor operational performance
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Food Science, Business or related field
* Possesses interest in working food manufacturing
* Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* Ability to
