Our mission is to make all of our customers security-relevant data continuously available for automated detection and response, threat hunting, and other Falcon use cases. To enable this, the systems behind NG-SIEM are growing to accommodate >100 PB of event and action data ingested every day, up to 10 years of retention, and dozens of millions of queries per hour across large sections of the data stored. As a new Senior Engineer I on the LogScale Search team you will be responsible for delivering this scale to customers by developing new features as well as improving existing functionality. You will be joining a distributed team of highly collaborative engineers who share a strong passion for the product. In this role you will get a chance to work on hard engineering problems that do not have well-defined solutions, and drive high-impact projects to completion. You will drive the companys vision of a fast, reliable and best-in-class log storage solution.
Teams in LogScale have a great amount of autonomy, and own a part of the LogScale experience, from ideation and development to deployment and feedback. This includes ensuring high quality of the features they deliver, by writing automated tests, and performing manual tests. Moreover, we do not just throw over features to our operations teams, but we constantly observe and monitor new features in production, with LogScale dashboards of course. An important part of our work is making sure that LogScale continues to be scalable in terms of efficiently ingesting and digesting events, querying for the right data, while also ensuring the stability of the clusters.
