Job Summary:

The Director of Operations is of utmost significance to Plant Therapy. A person in this positionwill be responsible for overseeing all facets of daily operations, including production, fulfillment, warehouse, and maintenance. The Director of Operations is a leadership position that requires problem-solving and strategic thinking. The Operations Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

Essential Functions:

  • Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of production, fulfillment, maintenance, and warehouse departments.
  • Responsible for managing a team of Operations Managers.
  • Work to reduce costs through the use of technology, machinery, or employee efficiency
  • Strategically plan out the operations department to keep up with very rapid company growth
  • Hiring, training, and developing managers and employees to meet staffing and planning needs. Performing staff management tasks.
  • Create and monitor KPIs and other metrics to determine performance and make recommendations
  • Communicate with internal departments and lead meetings for operations departments
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ successful years of manufacturing, distribution, and transportation management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, operations management, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • LEAN or Six Sigma certifications
  • NetSuite ERP experience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Computer skills including ERP (NetSuite preferred), WMS, Gmail, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, Etc.
  • Understands how various departments within an Operations organization work together cohesively
