Overview

Berwick Academy seeks a qualified assistant coach(es) for its Upper School spring Crew program. We are looking for passionate, energetic, and dedicated individuals to coach the teams 30+/- dedicated and driven male & female athletes, from novice to experienced high school rowers.

Responsibilities

• Coach the Upper School spring Crew team and manage practices for athletes ranging from novice to experienced high school rowers.
• Organize and administer training plans and direct practices.
• Attend practices and races as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Compliance with all procedures and policies of crew facilities and US Rowing
• Prior rowing experience
• Prior coaching experience, specifically at club or school level
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Ability to establish positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and school administration
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent personal character
