Overview

Salary: Up to $18 per hour. We are seeking a SeasonalApplication Technician for chemical application to crops in storages (potatoes and onions). This full-time position pays up to $18 per hour and will generally be 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. During our busy Harvest Season, overtime will be required based on customer's needs. Weekend and evening work can be expected. This position will be from mid-August to mid-December but could change based on Harvest season.

Responsibilities

• Setting up application machines, maintaining chemical levels, and monitoring equipment during applications.
• Cleaning work area of storage facility upon application completion.
• Climbing ladders to remove fan screens, etc. and other physical activity for job preparation.
• Climbing on top of potato / onion piles to acquire information such as temperature readings, as well as place flags.
• Assisting other custom applicators with their duties.
• Delivering and picking up chemical from multiple customer locations.
• Assisting the Service Department with installs and service calls.
• Assisting the Service Department with Storage Pre-Season and startups.

• a basic knowledge of electricity ( but not required).

• Enjoys working in a different location everyday

Requirements & Notes

• Our insurance company requires drug testing and background checking.
• You will need to have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• The job requires lifting 50 pounds on a regular basis, and overtime hours and weekends are required as we respond to the busy harvest season.
