Our Fund Finance Team

The hiring partners for this position, Joe ODonnell and Maria Strickland , describe their team as a dynamic, collaborative group that focuses on training and mentorship to provide the highest quality client service and create a supportive environment for its team members.All team members have the opportunity to forge direct relationships with clients early in their careers, which they can continue to build on over the years.

Our team represents a variety of banks and other financial institutions in single-lender and syndicated financing transactions lending to foreign and domestic private equity and venture capital funds, management companies, general partners and portfolio companies.

  • You have 2 to 3 years experience working on debt finance transactions.
  • You have experience with lender-side representation and experience with private equity and venture capital funds(preferred but not required).
  • You have experience drafting and negotiating loan documents and reviewing diligence items in connection with debt finance transactions.
  • You have a familiarity with limited partnership agreements and possibly private equity and venture capital fund structures.
  • You have a proven track-record of working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • You have an ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
  • You have a strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
  • You are an independent thinker that demonstrates commitment to client service.
  • You desire to work in a team environment and take on increasing levels of responsibility

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

Boston, MA annual salary range: $235,000 to $260,000
