Assist maintenance employees in the installation of equipment and repairing machinery. Retrieves parts and tools for maintenance personnel. Job Description. Responsible for working in a safe and orderly manner while in the plant or on plant property. Aids maintenance personnel in dismantling defective machines and equipment and helps install new or repaired parts. Aids maintenance by lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Retrieves parts and tools for maintenance personnel. Report malfunction of processing and or packaging equipment to lead or Supervisor as needed. Utilize sound ergonomic practices such as job rotation when appropriate quickly as possible. Work in temperature extremes. Keeps work area clean. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic & Preferred Qualifications. High School Diploma/ GED.
