This position works a rotating shift of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Testing is required for this position. We must receive your test results by the posting deadline for you to be considered for this position. Testing is conducted by the Idaho Department of Labor Magic Valley Office.

Please note: If you took tests through the Department of Labor for a company other than Twin Falls County, your test scores are not automatically sent to us and you will need to mail, email, or fax them to our office before the posting deadline to be considered for this position.
Tests required: Basic Office Skills, General Typing (5 min), Data Entry (Alpha-Numeric). Tests will be kept on file for six (6) months. When you retest, we will use your most recent test score for each position for which you apply.
This position qualifies for some paid vacation and sick leave, PERSI retirement, and may or may not qualify for paid personal days, depending on hours worked. All part-time employees can participate in the Deferred Compensation (voluntary retirement) plan, regardless of hours worked, but are not eligible for short-term disability benefits, life insurance, or holiday pay (unless worked on the holiday). Receives and sends teletype data on warrants, criminal history, protection orders.
Processes warrant information for extradition to and from Idaho.
Processes court orders and fax information.
Receive and process warrants and protection orders from the courts.
Arrange extradition to and from Idaho through the ILETS System.
Maintain and update logs, records and files related to warrants and protection orders.
Maintain and transmit a listing of active warrants to local law enforcement agencies on a periodic basis.
Insure selected personnel training in areas related to warrants entry, clearing locating, and sending of teletype warrants.
Enter civil protection orders/no contact orders in ILETS System, maintain written logs and warrant files, delete as required.
Enter concealed permits and maintain written log.
Other teletype transactions as may be required by department personnel.
Perform other duties and activities as directed by superior authority.
Must be able to pass polygraph and background check.
Computer and data entry knowledge and skills.
Must be able to certify through ILETS (able to train).
Excellent telephone and public relation skills.
