Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Food Service Warehouseman to join our team at Child Nutrition. This full-time, year-round position is responsible for managing the inventory and distribution of food, supplies, and materials in support of our nutrition programs to 17 schools across Twin Falls. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with all the kitchen teams across the district.

Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store food and supply deliveries in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Organize and manage the warehouse layout for efficient access to food and supplies.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of food items for distribution to schools across the district. Must safely deliver frozen and dry good and chemicals to kitchens.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues related to inventory or deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space and delivery truck.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or deemed necessary.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, food service, or inventory management preferred. Fork lift certification preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required, this is a physically demanding job.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills and dependable work record.
- Valid driver's license required for transportation of food and supplies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings to support our district Child Nutrition team.
