What You Will Be Doing

• Drive Full‑Stack Features from Concept to Completion: Transform user stories into impactful solutions by clarifying requirements, architecting scalable systems, implementing robust backend and frontend code, conducting comprehensive testing, and deploying to production.
• Eliminate Issues Through Precision Problem‑Solving: Conduct thorough root cause analysis, implement definitive fixes that address core problems rather than symptoms, and establish strategic testing to prevent future regressions.
• Elevate Engineering Standards: Conduct rigorous reviews of technical plans and pull requests, ensuring clarity, simplicity, and correctness while preventing technical debt accumulation.

• Creating elaborate interfaces or complex architectures without clear purpose or user value.
• Implementing specifications mechanically without questioning assumptions or understanding user needs.
• Wasting time in excessive meetings about roadmaps, priorities, or organizational politics.
• Simply shipping features to meet metrics—your mission is to solve meaningful problems that drive measurable outcomes.

Senior Developer Key Responsibilities

• Leverage AI to develop software that solves authentic user challenges, delivers rapid value, and maintains long‑term technical integrity.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of production code experience for web applications across both frontend and backend domains (framework‑agnostic).
• Demonstrated ownership of complete modules, product features, or teams—proven ability to drive outcomes, not just contribute isolated components.
• Superior self‑direction: Ability to overcome obstacles independently, maintain productivity without supervision, and navigate effectively through ambiguous situations.
• Practical experience integrating generative AI into your daily development workflow.

Working with us

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly.
