Please note: This is a night-shift position only. The hours of operation are from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Seasonal: Mid November to Mid March

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to strict confidentiality regarding guests, staff, and volunteers.
• Ensure the center is set up and ready for the evening operations.
• Oversee the distribution of supplies (hygiene products, food) and manage routine sanitation of high-touch surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, and snow removal, as needed.
• Maintain accurate nightly checklists and manual notes.
• Provide crisis intervention: assess, identify, and intervene to ensure the safety of guests, volunteers, and staff.
• Follow established procedures in crisis situations.
• Offer guests advocacy, education, and referrals for community resources and services using the resource manual.
• Assist in maintaining the facility in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition.
• Know and follow the warming center's policies and procedures.
• Collaborate as a team with colleagues and volunteers on each shift.
• Attend all staff meetings and training sessions as assigned.
• Maintain positive relationships with guests, volunteers, staff from partner agencies, funders, and the public.
• Communicate with the Supervisor regarding any issues, concerns, or situations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution is desirable.
• Ability to work overnight hours (8:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
