CNC Lathe Operator

Personnel Plus of Twin Falls is hiring for a CNC Lathe Operator position in Twin Falls, Idaho

• Mon-Friday Weekends as needed
• Full Time 40+hrs
• Pay Rate $18+ Dependent on Experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
• Load parts into the appropriate machinery, using the best available tooling methods.
• Remove, sharpen, and reset tools.
• Make slight adjustments when necessary.
• Inspect product using precision measuring tools.
• Product inspections during set-up and throughout the production process.
• Verifies conformance of sample work pieces to specifications, using calipers and micrometers.
• Monitor machine for unusual conditions.
• Work in a safe and professional manner, and wearing proper protective equipment.
• Keeping area mopped and clean.
• Loads metal bar stock into feeding mechanism.
• Tags and returns any unused material to material control to be put back into inventory.
• Cooperation with supervisor and co-workers, willing to work as a team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED/ or equivalent combination of education and experiencing
• the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in order to fully understand all safety standards
• ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to interpret instructions given in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Must be able to stand/walk, stoop, kneel, crouch for long periods of time
• ability to push, pull, lift up to 35lbs frequently, 75lbs occasionally, 100 lbs rarely
