Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative $16hr

Customer Service Specialists are responsible for learning and understanding the entire front-end process to ensure successful service for our patients. They work in a fast-paced environment answering inbound calls and making outbound calls. They obtain, analyze, and verify information from referrals, create orders, and schedule patients to receive equipment as ordered by their doctor. Specialists also educate patients on their financial responsibilities when applicable.

Job Duties
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company.
  • Answer calls and emails in a timely manner, meeting goal metrics.
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
  • Answer questions about products, services, and general information based on customer needs.
  • Process orders, route calls to appropriate resources, and follow up as necessary.
  • Review documentation for accuracy, process, verify, and/or submit orders.
  • Complete insurance verification to determine patient eligibility, coverage, co-insurances, and deductibles.
  • Obtain pre?authorization from an insurance carrier and process physician orders for approval when required.
  • Navigate multiple online EMR systems to obtain applicable documentation and enter pertinent information.
  • Communicate with Customer Service and Management about trends with insurance companies.
  • Verify insurance carriers in the database; request addition of new carriers.
  • Contact patients when documentation does not meet payer guidelines to provide updates and options.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of call center experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a healthcare role (preferred).
  • Experience taking inbound calls.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $16/hr. Contract to Hire, based out of Dallas, TX. Benefits may include medical, dental & vision, critical illness, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, disability, Health Spending Account, transportation benefits, EAP, PTO. Eligibility may vary based on classification and length of employment.

Shift & Availability

Monday to Friday; 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm: 7am?4pm or 10am?7pm.
