Responsibilities

• Analyze the financial performance of the Commercial line of business
• Lead rate development and filing efforts, including competitive analysis and network analysis
• Conduct risk adjustment, trend analysis, and actuarial benefit value analysis
• Review rate adequacy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Utilize SQL or other programming languages to write queries for data analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial, Finance, or a related field of study
• Successful completion of 4+ exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare actuarial experience
• At least 2 years of actuarial experience
• Demonstrated experience applying project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• Fellow or Associate in the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA) upon hire
