We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to discover, scope, and deliver solutions for FMX's most strategic accounts. You will uncover the use cases behind their requests, explore options—from existing functionality to feature changes and integrations—and turn those into clear, actionable plans that FMX can reliably execute.

You'll collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Project Management, Design, and Engineering to scope integrations and product changes, and ensure our commitments align with customer expectations and FMX's long-term product strategy. Success in this role means maintaining clear, professional communication with customers and prospects, creating well-structured SOWs and integration plans, and ensuring a smooth delivery and launch of new functionality. You'll maintain a focused backlog of strategic account needs, prioritize needs based on urgency and impact, identify quick wins, and recommend high-value changes for key accounts.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Product Manager you will:

• Focus on key accounts and integrations.
• Maintain a clear, prioritized list of key account needs for product enhancements and integrations.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and key customers to gather, clarify, and refine requirements determining the "why" behind each request.
• Translate customer needs into structured solutions, documenting assumptions, constraints, data flows, and requirements.
• Support integration scoping by working with customers and Engineering to understand APIs, data mappings, and system behaviors, then document them in clear, accessible language.
• Collaborate with Engineering and project management to ensure scoped work is realistic, broken into small testable increments, and aligned with agreed timelines.
• Track deadlines and commitments for key accounts, escalate risks early, and keep stakeholders aligned on scope, milestones, and design decisions.
• Ask probing questions to uncover root problems and reframing requests into clear problem statements.
• Identify "quick win" approaches using existing FMX capabilities, and flag when product changes are truly needed.
• Propose strategic changes that serve multiple key accounts at once, focusing on improvements with broad impact.
• Build internal documentation, playbooks, and templates that make solution design, integration scoping, and key‑account support more consistent and scalable.
• Support pre‑sales conversations by helping Sales and Solutions articulate what is possible, what is not, and what would require new product work.

• Exhibits creativity within existing constraints, finding innovative ways to use current platform configurations before pursuing new development.
• Upholds meticulous attention to detail when documenting requirements, assumptions, edge cases, and success metrics in SOWs and integration scopes.
• Thrives in a highly collaborative environment, navigating diverse perspectives across Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, and Engineering to reach a unified recommendation.

The hiring process for this role:

• Phone screen with People Ops: A 30-minute conversation to review your background and experiences, discuss the culture at FMX, and ensure that you understand the general expectations for the role. Also, a great time for you to ask questions about compensation, benefits, etc.
• Hiring manager conversation: A 60-minute conversation with the hiring team. Be prepared to discuss your background as well as what you're looking for in your next role and what direction you see your career path taking. Also, this is a great time for you to ask questions about the expectations for this role, team culture, etc.
• Take Home Assessment: Selected candidates will complete a brief at-home assessment as part of the hiring process. This will be a time‑boxed assessment designed to understand how you think, communicate, and solve problems in scenarios similar to what you would encounter in this role. After submitting the assessment, there may be a virtual call with the hiring team to discuss the contents of the assessment.
• Final Panel Interview: A 60-minute peer interview with the members of the Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
• Questions for you from the team on your background, as well as time to discuss the day-to-day responsibilities and team culture.
• Offer & Onboarding: Candidates who receive an offer will be required to complete a background check prior to onboarding. New hires are also expected to work onsite at our Columbus, OH office during their first week to complete onboarding and connect with the team in person.

Compensation:

• This position is eligible for a base salary as well as a Company Performance Bonus. The compensation range for this position is expected to be $80,000-$100,000.
