Tech Lead (Node, AWS)

Must have requirements:

• Node.JS: 3-4+ yrs and mustbe most recent experience
• AWS: 3+ years' experience working with api gateway, lambda, aws batch, sns, sqs, aurora rds, s3, eventbridge, opensearch/elastic search, cloudwatch
• Database storage experience with relational and non-relational including AuroraRDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, S3, etc.
• Event driven architecture experience
• Automated Testing Experience and/or TDD
• Excellent Communication
• Thrives in a collaborative environment
• Automated CI/CD experience
• Enjoys mentoring software/mentoring software devs
• Strong in SQL

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker for local development/testing
• Experience working with infrastructure as code (ex: CDK)
• AWS: Glue, X-Ray, Opensearch/Elasticsearch, Fargate, Step Functions
• BDD implementation experience using tools like Cucumber
• Glue/Pyspark/Hadoop experience
• Insurance/healthcare experience
• 3+ years of leading/mentoring other devs managing code reviews, collaborating on design decisions, etc.
