Job Description
Sales Specialist– Plasma Proteins Portfolio (North-West Italy)
Location: Remote (Italy– preferably Milan area)
Travel: Approximately 70%
Thermo Fisher Scientific's PDX Division is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive growth and strengthen customer relationships across the North-West region of Italy . In this role, you will be responsible for selling scientific products and services , with a primary focus on our plasma proteins portfolio , including:
Assays (monoclonal gammopathy, complement, Neurological disorders, PID ...)
Instrumentations (Turbidimetric and MALDI-TOF)
Middleware solutions for monoclonal gammopathies, neurological disorders, and immunological diseases
Working closely with the Sales Manager , you'll implement a team-oriented sales strategy to meet and exceed objectives, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Handle and grow the assigned sales territory in North-West Italy
Promote and sell the plasma proteins product line and related solutions
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customers effectively
Achieve sales targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (Life Sciences or related area preferred)
Fluent English language
Validated experience (at least 5 years) in sales within life sciences, biotechnology, or diagnostics
Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory instrumentation and workflows
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently
Flexibility to spend close to 70% of the time traveling within the region
Based in North-West Italy (e.g., Milan area)
Computer proficiency in MS Office, Web-based, and other digital platforms.
Field and diligence in maintaining records & general administrative duties. Sales force experience is well evaluated.
Valid Italian driver's license & willingness to travel on a weekly basis (c.70%) within territory, plus regional & national meetings.
