Senior Software Engineer, .NET US Remote

PerfectServe is a cloud?based healthcare communication company that optimizes provider schedules and dynamically routes messages to improve patient care and clinician efficiency.

Opportunity

We need a senior engineer to design, build and maintain scalable, high?availability .NET services that form the backbone of our clinical communication platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and documenting business requirements while translating them into technical designs.
• Developing and maintaining RESTful Web API endpoints using ASP.NET and modern .NET technologies.
• Designing data access layers with ADO.NET, Dapper and EF, and ensuring efficient SQL for MSSQL databases.
• Implementing robust unit and integration tests, and participating in code reviews.
• Mentoring junior engineers, fostering code quality and best practices.
• Collaborating with product owners, QA, and cross?functional teams across multiple time zones.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with C# and ASP.NET Web API.
• Expertise in building and scaling RESTful services.
• Strong knowledge of .NET data?access frameworks (ADO.NET, Dapper, EF).
• Advanced SQL skills (data modeling, query optimization, stored procedures).
• Proficient with unit testing, CI/CD, Git and modern software development practices.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with .NET Core or .NET 5+
• Background in messaging queues such as RabbitMQ.
• Experience building SPAs with React/Angular and TypeScript.
• Observability tools (New Relic, Grafana).

Compensation

Salary range: $125,000 $175,000 per year. Compensation is determined by experience, skills and role responsibilities.
