Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance application code using C++ and C# to support ongoing integration, maintenance, and enhancement needs across multiple transit system initiatives.
• Perform code analysis, debugging, and resolution of software defects reported from field operations or testing environments.
• Participate in peer code reviews, design reviews, and software quality assurance processes to maintain high development standards.
• Develop unit tests and integration tests to validate software functionality and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including system designs, integration interfaces, and change management records.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience developing software in C++ and C# within enterprise or embedded systems environments.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
• Familiarity with multi-threaded programming, event-driven architectures, and system resource management.
• Familiarity with MQTT messaging protocols for inter-process communication is a plus.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across both application and integration layers.
