Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the execution of the Clean Energy (CE) portfolio.
• Align project management using Agile with the IRS OneSDLC development path, methodology, and delivery approach.
• Maintain and provide governance and audit presentation materials on the status of the CE portfolio.
• Collaborate with business partners and IT delivery partners to ensure successful coordination of newly developed capabilities.
• Conduct strategic communications and reporting support to maintain alignment among stakeholders.
• Conduct weekly project status reviews and identify program-wide risks and issues.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale IT projects within government or financial sectors, with a strong understanding of tax processing systems and clean energy initiatives.
• Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence) and collaboration platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with IRS processes and guidelines.
• IRS MBI Clearance is Preferred
