Material Handler

Personnel Plus,Inc is looking for a material handler in Twin Falls, Idaho.

moves dies from CI assembly to the press floor and back for CI disassembly when complete, uses a forklift to move material to the press floor and back when there is left-over material, read work orders, knows how a DIR is handled, performs production inspections throughout the production process, uses precision measuring equipment, performs routine machine maintenance and quality monitoring, reviews paperwork for accuracy, and communicates within departments to produce a final product meeting the customer's specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Know all aspects of material handling and how to measure parts accurately and consistently.
• Know setup and operation of tooling, material, and equipment for production jobs.
• Know all the details of how DIRs are handled.
• Know how to read, understand, and interpret work orders, engineering drawings and basic blueprints.
• Inspect paperwork for complete and accurate information.
• Keep excellent records of production.
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure specifications and quality standards are being met.
• Consistently improve productivity.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately.
• Perform with great attention to detail.
• Adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic knowledge and demonstrated skills in mechanics and mechanical procedures.
• Operate forklifts and stationary lifting devices as needed.
• Plan the process of work.
• Basic troubleshooting.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly subject to hazards, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, there is air and/or skin exposure to oils and noise.

The noise level in the environment is loud.

Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

$15/hr. D.O.E
