Whole Health Solutions and Optum Behavioral Care (OBC) are revolutionizing behavioral health care delivery for individuals, clinicians and the entire health care system, and we are seeking an Account Executive to join our team. This field-based role, located in the Detroit, Michigan area, will develop and maintain provider relationships to generate program referrals, develop and implement strategies to increase market share, and coordinate marketing efforts within the assigned territory. We're looking for someone that has a history of being a self-starter, loves connecting with people and building relationships, and a proven track record calling on providers.

Primary Responsibilities:
Build relationships and establish partnerships with provider accounts (medical clinics & staff) to generate behavioral health referrals to OBC clinics and virtual services
Implement strategies and develop sales plans to effectively penetrate the assigned provider markets; Develop and implement strategies to increase market share through identification of targeted providers
Demonstrate proficiency in the development and implementation of small group and individual presentations for targeted providers/clinics that cover all aspects of OBC programs
Manage clinic specific issues within established guidelines in conjunction with cross-functional team support
Conduct joint calls with clinical staff to develop strong customer relations with providers
Present reporting and outcomes as part of ongoing clinic engagement
Complete training and maintain clinical, product, and market dynamics knowledge, including competitors within territory
Work with established expense guidelines to maximize return on investment
Conduct job functions in a manner that promotes a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers
Coordinate efforts with other resources including Marketing, local Clinical Managers, and Regional Directors
Represent company and business at regional events providing education and awareness on services-such as conferences and other forums

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience in Account Management or customer leadership facing roles
Experience in a territory management capacity
Medical or behavioral healthcare environment experience
Experience calling on and presenting to physicians
Proven track record of success
Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel locally daily to providers
Permanent residence within a commutable distance to Boston, MA
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling directly to medical groups
Behavioral health knowledge

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
