We are currently looking for a Credentialing Supervisor to join our growing team!

The Credentialing Supervisor with tango will be detailed oriented, self-motivated, process driven, supervisor to work directly with our Manager, Credentialing to play a crucial role in ensuring that our providers maintain the highest level of professional qualifications and comply with all regulatory standards. Responsible for overseeing the credentialing process, managing a team of credentialing specialists, and collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance with accreditation and certification requirements. Additionally, the Credentialing Supervisor will support managing credentialing email box, and work together with Manger, Credentialing, Director of Network, and VP of Network to strategically optimize existing workflows from credentialing approval to provider training.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the credentialing department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of provider applications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of credentialing specialists, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
  • Collaborate with claims, accounting, and compliance departments to ensure that credentialing processes align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of credentialing files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices related to credentialing.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff on credentialing processes and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for providers and internal stakeholders regarding credentialing inquiries.
  • Communicate process improvement opportunities and work cross-departmentally on process changes and improvement where necessary, alongside direct Supervisor.
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Various other duties, in support of the Credentialing Supervisor, on a daily and weekly basis as assigned by the direct Supervisor and as needed by the Credentialing team.
  • Promptly respond to voicemail, email, and other requests from colleagues.
  • Provide intra-departmental information and support on basic to moderate in-house automated system configuration.
  • Developing and writing job aides, and processes, and assisting in policies for configuration of internal platforms.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Additional duties may involve support in training new team members and collaborating with cross-departmental teams to ensure a smooth Provider Onboarding process.
Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge/ Experience
  • Equivalent to high school diploma.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).
  • Consistent and reliable WiFi.
  • Experience in healthcare (home health or credentialing a plus), or similar role, preferred but not required.
Skills/ Abilities Pertinent To This Position
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving and research skills.
  • Organization and planning.
  • Experience with working with several different software platforms concurrently.
