The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is currently recruiting for benefited, temporary Watercraft Station Inspectors located in the Twin Falls, Highway 93 area.

Summary:
This job is part of the agency's statewide invasive species prevention program. This position will serve as a member of a watercraft inspection team stationed at the inspection station 3 miles north of Jackpot, NV and will report to Twin Falls. This position will drive a state vehicle stationed at the Twin Falls office to the Hwy 93 station.
Job Responsibilities:
These positions inspect watercraft to prevent the spread of zebra/quagga mussels and other Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) from infested states. The position will use an established protocol to inspect watercraft and conduct hotwashes on high-risk conveyances; conduct quality control activities at watercraft inspection stations; setting up and taking down portable traffic signs on daily basis; and properly entering detailed watercraft data on an electronic inspection form.
