Location: Bronx, New York.

Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid (on-site once weekly).

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 annually.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Child Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) bilingual in Spanish to provide specialized mental health services to patients aged 6 and above in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with only one on-site day per week. Bilingual candidates are required.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master of Science in Nursing or higher from an accredited PMHNP program.
  • Licensure: Active New York State PMHNP License.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with children aged 6 and above.
  • Requirements: Must have an active Medicaid; Bilingual (mandatory).
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish (required).
  • Technical Skills: Child psychiatric assessment, medication management, therapy modalities.
  • Soft Skills: Cultural competence, empathy, strong communication with children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological assessment and therapy to children aged 6 or above.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain active Medicaid provider status.
  • Collaborate with team members.
  • Provide culturally competent care to diverse populations.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
