We are looking for a Wastewater Treatment Operator in Jerome, ID. The Wastewater Treatment Operator is responsible for the day to day operations of wastewater treatment, performing a variety of duties related to the collection, treatment and distribution of water and wastewater. Operate the wastewater treatment system in compliance with organization discharge limits. Operate wastewater treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant to control flow and processing of wastewater. Monitor control panels and adjust valves manually or by remote control to regulate flow of influent and chemicals. What you need: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one (1) year wastewater treatment experience or equivalent training/certification strongly preferred. Basic mechanical competency with standard wastewater equipment to include, pumps, and automation required.
