Seasonal Operations Assistant

Elkhorn HOA is hiring a seasonal operations assistant to help with the spring and summer operations. Weekends and holidays are required, as well as a strong sense of humor. Training on the job is available. This position will assist with facility management and general operations, including tasks such as coordinating maintenance, overseeing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. General Responsibilities

· To assist the Operations Manager with all of his daily duties including the items below. At times that means working independently to complete the tasks:

· Be generally familiar with and understand the SVEA Master Declarations, Architectural Design Committee Manual, Elkhorn Sub-Association Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and Elkhorn Rules, and point owners' questions to your manager.

· Be familiar with all SVEA owned properties such as Harker Center Structure, Patty Rosewater Park, Harker and Village Pool facilities and tennis courts and open space areas.

· Assist with preparation for meetings/functions.

· Assist with answering telephones and routing calls, greeting owners, guests and others coming into the office, issuing amenity cards, running office/association errands, opening and routing mail, statement and special mailings, and all other general duties.

· Perform with any special projects as needed.

· General Maintenance duties as assigned.

· Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, sit, stand and perform general physical tasks for prolonged periods.

Amenities – Responsible for the maintenance of all SVEA owned facilities, amenities and grounds. At times that means working independently to complete the tasks:

· Assist the Operations manager with Recreation/Board approved amenity improvements or maintenance projects.

· Perform with the regular inspections of all SVEA owned properties to ensure such are well maintained, clean and in a first-class condition. Such properties include but may not be limited to, pools, spas, tennis courts, parks, ponds, trails and paths, all open space, fencing, signs, parking lots, structures, etc.

· Ensure that all components of SVEA assets are in good working order and are in line with the estimated life expectancy as outlined in the Capital Component Schedule.

· Maintaining, restocking and emptying of pet stations.

Pool Operations – Oversee the safe and professional operation of the SVEA Pools.

· Understand and enforce all SVEA Rules and Procedures pertaining to the operation of Pools.

· Ensure that the components of pools and accompanying amenities are in good working order. Assist and perform daily routine maintenance.

· Perform the supervision, management scheduling and evaluate Summer Pool Staff and Assistant Pool Manager utilizing established Position Plans.

· Occasional staffing coverage at the two pools as needed, the Harker and Village facilities.

Tennis Operations – Assist with the professional operation and maintenance of the SVEA Tennis Courts.

· Assist with the monitoring of all components of the tennis facilities are in good working order.

· Be familiar with all aspect of Har-Tru court construction, watering, seasonal opening and closing procedures and scheduled maintenance.

· Assist with the tennis court capital maintenance and improvements oversight.

Recreation Programs:

· Assist Programs Director with program development, implementation, coordinating, setting up and breaking down programs and events,
