The Apprentice Technician is under the supervision of the Area Manager of each job site and will report to lead foreman or manager depending on which division the apprentice is assigned. Apprentices help the victims of disasters such as fire, flood, mold, or other events by performing the duties below in the Contents, Mitigation, and Repair Division to help restore people's homes or businesses.

Additional Responsibilities: Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and insurance companies to ensure issues are dealt with quickly and effectively. Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections. Maintaining vehicles in clean, serviceable condition. Residential, Commercial, and Multi-Family Reconstruction Projects. Maintaining equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May be required to operate in close quarters, crawl spaces, small rooms, and narrow aisles and passageways.
Physical Requirements: Move and transport up to 50 lbs. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Climb, crawl, stand, stoop, kneel, move/traverse, bend and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time. Operate hand and electric tools.
Other Requirements: Valid Driver License. Knowledge of power tools.
