The Scale Assistant performs end-to-end scale house operations for the Specialty division, supporting the safe and accurate receiving and shipping of Standlee 3-tie and specialty products. This role partners closely with Specialty product team, customer service, and carriers to coordinate truck flow, verify product and load details, complete required documentation, and ensure loads are processed efficiently and in compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The Scale Assistant builds strong working relationships with new and existing customers and drivers while maintaining a high level of accuracy, service, and communication in a fast-paced shipping and receiving environment.

Working Conditions
Scale House Environment: Office setting with an open window. Temperature can be hot/cold based on the season, environment may be dusty from open window and wind in the area.
Physical Requirements: Good physical condition, mobility, and the ability to work extended hours are necessary to perform the basic tasks of this position. Good vision and hearing are essential to properly perform these operations. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
