Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Jerome, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel MUST START IN JUNE We are open to reviewing OTs with limited experience if they demonstrate strong capability. Candidates may have less than one year of acute care or overall OT experience, but must have proven success in prior placements, as this role involves a more independent work environment in Jerome. Position Details Department: Occupational Therapy Unit: Occupational Health – Jerome Patients per Day: 8–10 (solo therapist coverage daily) Requirements Certifications: BLS required Additional OT Certifications: None required Experience: Acute inpatient or rehab experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Patient Population Orthopedic (total joint replacements) Neurological (primarily strokes; occasional brain injuries; no TBI cases) Medical and General ICU patients Setting Acute Inpatient Swing Bed Therapists will cover both areas and may float to Twin Falls when census is low. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services in acute inpatient and swing bed settings Manage caseload independently Deliver quality patient care across varied diagnoses Facility & Support EMR: EPIC Leadership: OT Manager onsite Support Staff: No COTAs or rehab aides Schedule Hours: 5x8s (8:30 AM–5:00 PM) Scheduling: No self-scheduling Weekends: Not required Holidays: May be required Additional Information Dress Code: Scrubs allowed (must not match other department colors; color options provided upon hire) Orientation: 2–3 days department-specific onboarding Travelers should expect a Monday–Friday schedule during onboarding About Triage Staffing At Triage, we prefer to be real .
