Job Description

This is a remote position. The Educational Technology Specialist develops innovative eLearning curricula to modernize training programs at UW Medicine. It involves designing interactive web-based training modules that engage learners using adult learning principles. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure training materials meet operational requirements. It plays a critical role in supporting re-skilling initiatives and continuous learning. Candidates with EPIC certification are highly desired and preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities: • Apply adult learning principles to develop engaging online training modules. • Create multimedia content using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora Inspire. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training materials meet operational needs. Requirements • 2+ years in instructional design and web-based training development. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and eLearning authoring tools. • Excellent writing, editing, and collaboration skills.
