This position empowers you to troubleshoot and resolve challenges, drive system efficiencies, and maintain the operational integrity of our manufacturing equipment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. You will ensure that all documentation is timely, accurate, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation standards, and performance metrics.Essential Functions, Duties and Performance ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough pre-operational checks on all equipment prior to initiating processes.Assess raw materials and finished products according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Maintain targeted solids percentages in finished products to uphold quality.Monitor and report on Clean in Place (CIP) chemical usage daily.Assist with the loading of bulk Liquid Milk Permeate.Review departmental and system performance, proactively suggesting ideas for product or process improvement.Adhere diligently to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).Collect samples in accordance with SOPs and ensure all production logs and sanitation records are completed accurately and promptly.Verify performance of CIP systems.Operate and clean manufacturing equipment as per the production plan.Contribute innovative ideas to enhance process efficiency and system protocols.Follow OSHA and plant safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.Willingness to be an engaged team member.Participate in initiatives that promote greater employee involvement and operational success.Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned.Position Specifications / QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent work-related experience.ExperienceExperience in a plant environment and as a production operator is preferred.Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of production lines and equipment preferred.Familiarity with production lines and equipment is preferred but not essential.Ability to effectively collaborate in teams and foster a supportive working atmosphere.Problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.Excellent communication capabilities, ensuring documentation accuracy and completeness.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsOccasional ascending and/or descending of ladders and stairs.Walking required for long distances on a regular basis.Repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Standing for sustained periods on concrete.Stooping by bending the spine at the waist on a regular basis.Reaching extending hands and arms in any direction.Pushing using upper extremities to press against something with steady force.Pulling using upper extremities to exert force to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.Kneeling occasionally for rest on knees.Crouching by bending the body downward and forward.Lifting up to 50 lbs daily, up to 60 lbs occasionally.Talking expressing or exchanging ideas by spoken word.Exposure to sound up to 92 decibels.Exposure to high temperatures up to 120 degrees F.Equipment OperatedEvaporators and miscellaneous manufacturing equipment, personal computers, copy machines, calculators, analytical tools, telephones, and hand tools.#J-18808-Ljbffr
