Athletics Operations CoordinatorThis position works independently as well as to assist and coordinate game and event management, personnel, ticketing, and concessions as primary functions.Essential Functions:Advises athletic director of any issues within the athletic department.Assist in the planning and attend all CSI events sponsored by CSI Athletics.Oversee and maintain reserved seating in the gym to include invoicing seat holders, providing receipts, making phone calls, and sending tickets to appropriate buyers.Assist in fundraising and help facilitate fundraising events (Fall Fest, Golf Tournaments, and any other fundraising efforts)Help organize and set-up game management duties.Oversee and operate the concession stands at the Gym, Softball, Baseball and Expo. To include ordering product, hiring employees and helping work when needed.Oversee and operate the admission ticket counters at the Gym, Softball, and Baseball.Assist in the planning of the annual sophomore banquet.Accompany the Athletic Director and take minutes at annual SWAC Meetings.Work nights and weekends for all home athletic and community events as they pertain to CSI Athletics.Perform other duties as deemed necessary and required.Unique Functions:Manages multiple, complex projects concurrently with good judgment and professionalism in dealing with pressures and meeting deadlines.Responsible for monies taken at concession and gym events and are accurately counted and deposited at the end of the day/night.Hires, assigns duties and supervises personnel serving at events, in concessions and ticket counter, and as work-study students.Specific Skills Required:Possess critical thinking skills and be a self-motivator.Possess superior skills in dealing with people courteously and effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, internet and email.Experience in easily handling constant change.Ability to maintain confidentiality in all personnel matters.Technical Expertise Required:Must possess basic math and bookkeeping skills to perform fiscal accountabilities.Education / Training Required:Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience performing similar duties; Bachelor's degree preferred.Work Schedule And Conditions:To include many evenings and weekendsAdditional Information:Tuition assistance for yourself and your immediate family here at CSI, reciprocal agreements for tuition assistance for you at Lewis-Clark State College and Idaho State University.Free Gym/Recreation center membership for you and your family.Discounted athletic events.Discounted Herrett Center events and shows.MedicalSelect HealthDentalDelta Dental/WillametteVisionAmeritas/VSPRetirement plan with the following contribution rates.Employee Contribution: 7.18%Employer Contribution: 11.96%The College of Southern Idaho is an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to cultivating and sustaining an environment in which our employees and learners thrive.
