The primary purpose of this position is to function as the Senior Interpretive Specialist for the organization of assignment. As the Senior Interpretive Specialist, the incumbent will provide guidance and leadership in the decision-making process for programs, both on-site and off-site.Major Duties Frontline supervision for Park Rangers, Park Guides, and volunteers performing visitor services work - includes developing work schedules and performance plansUses a variety of hiring authorities to meet recruitment goals and changing workforce demandsResearches and develops on and off-site interpretive and educational programs to engage multicultural, intergenerational and other groupsFormulates annual budget/financial operating program for sites and staff under their supervision.Assists in development of wayside, museum and visitor center exhibits and other interpretive information media#J-18808-Ljbffr
