Hello! We are a caring family located in Jerome, Idaho, Seeking a kind, dependable caregiver for my in-laws (Dad, 94; Mom, 91), who live independently in their own home. Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Willing to discuss hourly rate.
Duties include assisting with the morning routine, supervising breakfast, showers, medications, light laundry, light help with housework like changing beds, companionship, and observing/reporting changes to family.
Occasional personal care (nail trimming, hearing aid care, etc.). Mom has macular degeneration, mobility challenges, and takes medication for anxiety/mood swings. She also has some dementia. Both have hearing loss.
Looking for someone who is soft-spoken, patient, observant, respectful, and uses gentle encouragement rather than being pushy. Experience with seniors with dementia preferred and skills at diffusing a challenging situation.
