Production Laborer / Truck Driver
Division: Van Beek Nutrition LLC, Twin Falls, ID
Reports to: Plant Manager
To work as a production laborer, and to aid in the manufacture and delivery of high quality, consistent mineral mixes. The aforementioned purposes should all lead to the success of the primary mission of our company, which is to enhance herd health and production through nutrition by providing high quality premixes, custom mineral blends and technical advice with attention to the specific needs of our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manufacture Mineral Mixes (85%)
Manufacturing and bagging mineral mixes and premixes in a timely, accurate and consistent manner according to the parameters set by the Plant Manager.
Deliver Mineral Mixes to the Customer (5%)
The Production Laborer/Truck Driver must deliver minerals to the customer according to the instructions of the Plant Manger. It is imperative to the satisfaction of the customers and ultimately to the success of the plant that mineral mixes are delivered by a courteous person in a timely manner.
Other Duties as Appointed by the Plant Manager (10%)
The Production Laborer/Truck Driver is responsible for bagging, delivery, cleaning, and all other duties that may be assigned to him/her by the Plant Manager, including but not limited to: printing Tags, and utilizing WEM and FMS computer systems.
Job Requirements & Skills
High School Diploma is required.
Extensive experience working in a mineral production plant is preferred.
Maintenance of a mill preferred.
A commercial drivers license (CDL) or the ability to pass a CDL test.
Basic ability to utilize computer software.
Basic ability to operate a forklift.
Must be able to kneel, bend, squat, and carry 50 lb. bags of material.
Honesty, integrity, and an optimistic attitude are an absolute requirement.
